For a thorough cleaning of your fine rugs, Millers Cleaning has a very effective rug cleaning facility. To clean an Oriental rug properly, it should be cleaned in an environment where it can be properly dried. The process in which we clean is as follows: A pile lifter and vacuum are used to remove as much dry soil as possible. The rug is then sprayed with a preconditioning agent and shampooed with Oriental Rug Shampoo. After thoroughly rinsing the rug and cleaning the fringe, the rug is hung to dry in our controlled dry room.

Odor Control & Treatment

We have two treatments available

1. Major Odor Treatment: This treatment is GUARANTEED to remove the odor. This highly effective process involves pulling up the carpet in the affected area, cleaning the backing, removing the padding, treating the subfloor, replacing the pad, treating the backing of the carpet with a special odor barrier and treating the pile of the carpet with an enzyme.

2. Minor Odor Treatment: Our Minor Odor Treatment is NOT GUARANTEED. We will saturate affected areas with an enzyme. It helps the odor somewhat and is a good alternative when the more effective Major Odor Treatment is not needed.
